SUMMER BALL

  • Dates: June 18, 19, 2024 (Tuesday & Wednesday)
  • Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm *Both Days
  • Location: Patriot Park (Air Force Field), Saratoga Springs, Utah (Address/Map)
  • Individual Fee: $100
  • School Grade: 2nd thru 9th *Use upcoming school year 2024-2025
  • Registration Available: January 2024
  • Grades: 1st – 9th ( 10am – 1pm Both Days )
  • Check-In:  Will begin 30 minutes before Camp at 9:30 AM – We will warm-up as a group at 10:00 AM
  • Staff to player ratio 1 to 10
  • Camp Souvenir (T-Shirt) after the 2nd Day of camp instruction.
  • Instruction from past and present, college and professional, players and coaches
  • Cleats
  • Glove
  • Baseball uniform or other proper attire
  • Bat / Batting Helmet
  • Catcher’s equipment (for catchers)
  • Sweatshirt
  • Liquid Beverage (water, sports drink)
  • Players will be divided by Grade into teams for this outdoor Summer Camp. The camp to staff ratio is low in order to get in as many reps as possible. All aspects of the game will be covered including Bunting, Sliding, Base Running, and Speed Training. Players will take part in Offense and Defense stations throughout the two day camp.
  • The Goal of Summer Ball Camp is to provide an outdoor camp in the month of June while the kids are out of school. Summer Ball Camp was held at Salt Lake Community College since its inception. We thank SLCC for giving back to the game. Due to COVID, the Summer Ball Camp found a new home in 2020 at Patriot Park in Saratoga Springs.
Jacob Hannemann

Played professionally with the Chicago Cubs for 7 Years and a partial season with the Seattle Mariners. He played college baseball for Brigham Young University (West Coast Conference Player of the Year).  Attended Lone Peak High School (Highland, UT).

Justus Gilmore

Played Baseball at BYU from 1995-1998. Was the first Navajo graduate from a reservation high school to start at a D1 University for Baseball. 25 years experience coaching baseball (all levels) in Arizona & Utah. Currently, coaches baseball and football at East High School in Salt Lake City and runs coaching and mentoring programs, (Red Eagle Rising).

Jayson Kisselburg

Currently the Head Coach at Highland High School. Prior to that he was the Head Coach at West High School for 7 years. Played at Salt Lake Community College and Eastern Oregon University. Played for West High School (Salt Lake City, UT).

Kade Andrus

Kade Andrus: Played 4 Years with Utah Valley University, 9 game hitting streak, 10 multi-RBI games, reached base in 29 consecutive games. Attended Lone Peak High School (Highland, UT).

Robby Jacobson

Current Hitting & Catching Coach at Faith Lutheran High School. Head coach Marshall Gates Foundation (Marshalls Blue). Drafted by Oakland A’s 2002. Played at Ventura College and Point Loma Nazarene University in California. Signed 2007 with the San Diego Padres.

Curtis Jacobsen

Currently assistant coach at his alma mater Lehi High School (9 years). He played semi pro ball with St George Pioneerz.  Played for University of Utah and Southern Utah University (Rawlings Mid West All-American).  Still holds NCAA record combined with teammates, hitting 2 of 7 homeruns in one inning.

Taylor Berg

Currently Head Baseball Coach for Juan Diego Catholic High School. Is also the Pitching/Catching Coach at RA Baseball Academy.  Played (catcher) at Utah Valley University and Treasure Valley Community College. Graduated from Juan Diego Catholic High School.

Matt Barker

Currently RMSB Utah County Arbiter for Rocky Mountain Baseball as well as a UHSAA varsity umpire and referee. 4 sport athlete at Payson High School, played for a baseball State Championship in 1999.

Michael Everett

TOSH (The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital), Certified Athletic Trainer. TOSH Baseball/Softball Program Coordinator.

Emily Cook

Is currently a Mental Performance Coach and owner of Breaking Mental Barriers (breaking-mentalbarriers.com). She received a Master of Science Degree in Sport and Human Performance from Adler University and attended Utah State University for her undergraduate. She has experience working with a wide range of athletes, helping them become mentally stronger in order to perform their best on the field.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

  • 90% refund – Cancellation 10 or more days prior to Camp
  • 75% refund – Cancellation 3 to 9 days prior to Camp
  • No refund – Cancellation less than 3 days prior to Camp
