HOLIDAY CAMP

  • Dates: December 27, 28 2023 (Wednesday & Thursday)
  • Location: Elite Level Sports Academy (2100 W. Alexander St, West Valley, UT)
  • School Grade: 1st thru 9th
  • Half Day: Hitting (AM) -OR- Pitching (PM), Both Days
     – Individual Fee: $100
  • Full Day: Hitting & Pitching,  Both Days
     – Individual Fee: $180
  • Facility Liability Waiver: Print, Sign and hand in at Check-In
  • Registration Available: October 2023
  • Who May Attend:Space is Limited – Any boy or girl grades 1st through 9th who would like to improve their baseball skills and have fun in the process. Players will be divided into groups by grade.
  • Hitting Session: 9:15am to 12:15pm (Both Days, Wednesday & Thursday)
  • Pitching Session: 1:00pm to 4:00pm (Both Days, Wednesday & Thursday)
  • Check-In Procedure: Check-In will begin 30 minutes before camp at 8:45 am on Wednesday for the Hitting session. For those that are only attending the Pitching session may Check-In at 12:30 pm Wednesday.
  • Staff to player ratio 1:10
  • Camp Souvenir (baseball hat)
    *If both sessions are attended only 1 hat will be received
  • Instruction from past and present, college and professional, players and coaches
  • Gym Shoe / Turf Shoes (all stations are indoors “No Cleats”)
  • Glove
  • Baseball uniform or other proper attire
  • Bat / Batting Helmet
  • Note: If by chance you are attending both Sessions, you may want to pack a Lunch to eat in-between Sessions.
  • Players will be divided by Grade into teams for this indoor camp. The camp to staff ratio is low in order to get in as many reps as possible. Hitting and Pitching stations are kept short to keep the rotations moving quickly. Each station a different subject matter or activity is covered.
  • The Holiday Camp was the first event ever held by RMSB in 1993 in Logan, UT. The Holiday Camp provides an opportunity for some baseball between the hustle and bustle of Christmas and New Year’s. This camp has had many homes including: Logan, Price, SLCC, Ogden, Lindon, and West Valley.
Gorman Heimueller

Current Minor League Pitching Coach for the San Diego Padres organization. Minor League Baseball pitching coordinator/coach for over 35 years. Played Major League Baseball with the Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants. Has over 40 years professional baseball experience.

Chris Shelton

Hitting

Played 7 years of Major League Baseball with the Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers. Played at the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College. 2004 Arizona Fall League Most Valuable Player. Cottonwood High School (Salt Lake City, UT).

Jacob Hannemann

Played professionally with the Chicago Cubs for 7 Years and a partial season with the Seattle Mariners. He played college baseball for Brigham Young University (West Coast Conference Player of the Year).  Attended Lone Peak High School (Highland, UT).

Kelton Caldwell

Currently is the Assistant Coach at Salt Lake Community College. Previously was the Head Coach at Juan Diego High School. Played at Brigham Young University and was 1st-Team All-West Coast Conference selection both 2012 and 2014. He attended Jordan High School.

Zac Stott

Played professionally with the Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds organizations. Played at Dixie State College (St. George, UT). Logan High School (Logan, UT).

Jayson Kisselburg

Currently the Head Coach at Highland High School. Prior to that he was the Head Coach at West High School for 7 years. Played at Salt Lake Community College and Eastern Oregon University. Played for West High School (Salt Lake City, UT).

Nate Weese

Played at Bountiful High School. Was a 4 year 1st Basemen starter at University of Utah and holds several hitting records. He was signed by Montreal Expos Organization. Former Head Coach at Syracuse High School.

Eric Spackman

Matt Barker

Currently RMSB Utah County Arbiter for Rocky Mountain Baseball as well as a UHSAA varsity umpire and referee. 4 sport athlete at Payson High School, played for a baseball State Championship in 1999.

Michael Everett

Refund/Cancellation Policy

  • 90% refund – Cancellation 10 or more days prior to Camp
  • 75% refund – Cancellation 3 to 9 days prior to Camp
  • No refund – Cancellation less than 3 days prior to Camp
